Clear Channel will see the light...or we'll hit 'em where the sun don't shine!
Clear Channel Communications (who you might know as the company that made 103.9 the Edge suck) forced Ranger Danger to retire through vicious actions. Actions that would seem to contradict their credo which states that: "We believe we have an obligation for the well-being of the communities in which we work. We further believe the future of the broadcasting industry is closely tied to public service and the standards we set will be measured critically by the communities we serve." If they were really so interested in serving our community, why did they oust one of our most beloved community figures? And why did they do so in such a cruel and overbearing way? It certainly goes against their policy of "Respect for the individual", "Honest, open communication", and "Maintaining the highest standards of ethics and integrity in every action we take and in everything we do." Does it seem very ethical to force a beloved local figure out of his position and then try to claim part ownership of this figure? I think not.
